Wishing Words of Hope

by Géshey Sherab Phüntsok (dge bshes shes rab phun tshogs)

Translated from the Tibetan by Erick Tsiknopoulos

My close relatives split off by scores of leagues,

And my two parents, who give the warm simmer of mind;

If I could just enjoy together their gleaming smiles of laughter:

When will that sun and moon of mind shine, indeed?

I ask; offering ambrosial nectar to the Source of Refuge, the Three Supreme Ones.
